When using auxilary jack with my iPod why does sound only comes from one speaker?
I know how to use the auxiliary jack in my 2008 VW GTI. But when I have music playing through it, sound is only coming from one speaker. Is this a setting that needs to be changed? Or is it a faulty 3.5 headphone cable, or AUX jack? Thanks for the help.
If you’re lucky, it’s just a defective cable; but it could be a problem with the auxiliary jack.
Make sure the cable is pushed all the way into the aux jack and into your iPod’s headphone jack. Some of the cases available for iPods make it more difficult to connect cables securely. If the plug isn’t fully seated into either jack, it can cause the problem you’re describing.
You can also get good quality 14 gauge black wire at any home improvement store, it’s very inexpensive, normally used for low-voltage outside lighting.
Hey guys, I love music and I love hip hop. Nothing is more fun then dropping a freestyle with my friends at the perfect moment. But i’ve been really interested in getting a microphone and speaker set. (im a noob). I’m not really sure what to get that is affordable AND has some good quality. Suggestions or links would be appreciated.

but if your going to freestyle live out of loudspeakers just go with a good old sm58 and use a mixer and Pa to amp it. There is no such thing as a “vocal amp”
