Which is better for my cables Ferrite Cores or Net Jacket?

Im looking to buy a HDMI cable and i was wondering what the difference between the Ferrite Cores and the Net Jacket cables were. Which is better?

HDMI is a digital interface. The bits are either received or not.
Any cable is fine, especially for for short lengths (1-3 meters).

I’ve broken off the end to the red battery cable connector on my John Deere GT242 lawn mower.?

I went to jump the mower for the season and when I popped this little protective cover up on the red cable it snapped the connector off because the corrosion had eaten through the metal. How difficult is this to repair myself and what would it entail? I work in a factory that does make battery cables for motorcycles/lawn mowers but I don’t work in the area that actually handles that section of wire.

Well, it’s actually pretty easy to fix if you’re OK with a jerry-rigged solution.

As long as there is exposed wire on the cable, you can buy a screw clamp like this:

for about a dollar at any auto parts, or hardware store, and use it to attach the wire, to the battery post

What knid of antenna is good for 10 meter ham radio ?

Or if there are any good websites for make your own antennas that you know about.

There are lots of 10 meter antenna types. From dipoles to yagies to cubical quads. Whats best for you depends on how much space you have and what you can get away with neighbors wise…

The ARRL has a number of antenna books for sale….I’m sure if you google 10 meter antenna design you will find a zillion web cites with plans…

However, we are at a sun spot cycle low at the moment…. it will be a few years before 10 meters is “open” with any consistency…
