Amp Relay
windshield wipers dont operate and both relays and 10 amp fuse proves ok 1995 chrysler concorde any suggestion?

checked all relays and fuse but still wont operate could it be the wiper moter?

The wiper motor uses a ground circuit to activate the motor. This is done in the body controller. It could also be the motor.

Power Supplies

XP Powers vast range of ac-dc power supplies

This combined with the need for our customers to differentiate their product from that of their competitors gives rise to the development of our extensive range of power supplies. Our industry leading range of standard power supplies offer endless combinations of package sizes, form factors, output voltages and output power levels to accommodate almost every application.

Our power supplies can be split into four key industry areas, each designed with unique purposes in mind. The four industry sectors that our power supplies are purposely designed for are military, medical, industrial and communications each of which have unique requirements in terms of compliancy.

The power supplies within our military power supplies range are compliant to the many military standards.  Our commercial off the shelf (COTS) power conversion components are cost effective and specifically designed for the defense and avionics industry.  They include ac-dc supplies like our MCM60 which is sealed in a waterproof enclosure and ideal for harsh environments.  We offer a wide variety of dc-dc converters, filters and a hold up module to meet the various military specification standards in mobile electronic products.

Medical power supplies have an integral need to be high performing and reliable due to the nature of the end products they are powering.  Additionally, they are required to comply with UL/EN60601-1 medical safety standards as well as provide increased isolation and decreased leakage current when compared with commercial power supplies.  XP Power’s medical supplies are designed to meet challenges faced by medical equipment manufacturers and provide cost effective solutions for use in hospital and non-hospital locations.  We offer one of the widest ranges of medical power supplies in the industry and are continually developing new products to meet changing demands.  For example, with more and more medical monitoring devices moving away from the hospital setting and into people’s homes we have responded by having many products available with Class II ac input and construction.

Industrial power suppliescan come in a variety of formats, sizes and output power ranges with one to several unique output voltages.  The types of companies and applications that use this group of power supplies are vast, just like our product offering.  XP Power products are used in large semiconductor manufacturing and testing equipment, factory automation, process control, instrumentation and almost any industrial type of equipment imaginable.  Our supplies meet these needs with standard products ranging from single output DIN rail mounted supplies to multiple output, high power configurable PSUs.  Our Engineered Solutions Group is able to create customized design solutions when a standard product may not fit the bill.

Power supplies used in the Communications market often require the most up to date technology in order to facilitate the demand to incorporate more functionality into smaller spaces with greater processing power. Our communications power supplies are some of the smallest in the industry and are at the forefront of cutting edge design.  Take for example our new ECS series offering up to 45 Watts output in an industry leading 2″ x 3″ footprint, our EMA212 series with 212 Watts in a standard 3″ x 5″ size, and our award winning MFA350 that has a power density of 10.7 Watts per cubic inch and multiple standard mechanical formats.

Our Knowledge and understanding of each industry sector and the requirements of power supplies within them has led to specialized product features in each area. In addition to our standard power supplies we offer engineering services to meet the demands of products that off the shelf solutions do not fulfil. Our specialist design team is one of the best in the power industry which allows us to create unique power supply designs to meet specific needs.

Tube Radio
Are valve (vacuum tube) radios still manufactured ? Where am I to get one in India ?

I know that long back the valves radios were replaced by transistors radios which were later replaced by IC radios. The valve radios had better voice quality. Will any one please give me address of the shop where I am to get one valve radio for me? ( Even an old one which is working properly will do.)

None manufactures them any more.
Only hope of getting them is in old goods auction stores.
Even if you get one maintenance will be a problem as the components are obsolete.

Usb Cat
Can a cut USB cable be repaired?

My cat chewed through the cable on my webcam, and I was wondering if there is any way it can be fixed. Its just a standard USB end.
The cable doesn’t go into a socket on the camera, so I can’t just replace it. However, that is what I’m doing with the printer cable the cat also chewed through.

Yes and no. Theoritically yes. However, it requires some specalized skills and fairly good knowledge of electrical wiring. For you, that probably means no. Get another cable.
