Hanger Boom
What the f— happened to Zuko’s mom?! (from Avatar: The Last Airbender series.)?

I mean really..its been like 2 1/2 years now. They had a great 4 part special to close the series and they leave us with a f-bleep-ing cliff hanger?! Cmon..that really ticks me off. A major subplot for Zuko after finding out his mother was possibly alive was finding her. And the second to last scene in part 4 of Sozin’s Comet was “Daddy, where da f— is mommy?”.. Then boom. Teashop.

I heard they cut the scene but WHY?! Why wouldn’t they just have Ozai say “Haha I tricked you. I really did kill her. Look how evil I am!! hehehehe.” -frolicks around prison cell pretending to firebend-

I woulda been happier with that ending, than not knowing whether she is dead or alive. And the creators also said no season 4. So no opprotunity to find out from that…So what gives?

This was actually an intentional move by the creators. They wanted to leave this up for speculation, fan fiction, etc. Don’t feel bad, it’s not so bad since you can find out more about stories by fan fictions in places like www.deviantart.com. Even though most fan fictions are kind of lame, there are still pretty good ones out there.

What is the most scariest Doom 3 monster?

I saw the Doom 3 monsters, and I am wondering what people think is the top scariest monster in Doom 3.

The scariest Doom 3 monster has to be the imp. They pop out of nowhere especially where it is almost pitch black. They also crawl on the walls and cielings in later levels which makes them harder to kill. There just really scary when u have to fight them.

Pro Speaker
I’m a reply speaker (Pro) in a debate. What should I say?

I know I should say the reply speech. But what is the reply speech about? What should it contain? What preparations should I do? What should I observe during the debate proper? An example can also be a big help.

Our debate’s on August 2. T_T

As a reply speaker, your job is to reply to the argument of your opposition. Obviously, you won’t know what they’re going to say until they say it, so you’ll have to think on your feet. Some suggestions:

1) Prepare as thoroughly as you can, as though you were going to give the principal argument yourself. Since you don’t know what you’ll be countering, you need as many facts as you can pull together.

2) When the con speaker(s) are talking, listen VERY carefully. Take notes. Begin formulating your response before they finish speaking. They may say something at the end that makes you change your mind about how to respond, but that’s ok – most of the time, what you come up with while they’re speaking will still help in the rebuttal.

3) Avoid attacking the speakers personally. That’s called an “ad hominem” argument, and those never win debates except in US Presidential campaigns.

4) Whatever you end up saying, say it with confidence. In fact, the less certain you are about what you’re saying, the more confidently you should present it. The best defense is a good offense.
