digital coaxial audio cable to stereo jack?

possible?
how can i make a homemade converter?

Possible, yes. You can get commercially manufactured DAC units. If you need them to decode Dolby Digital, you need to pay more.

Something you can build, likely not.

The chip you need is likely not to easy to get, plus will be surface mount, so will be a somewhat advanced project. Forget about Dolby. Chips for those are only available to those that have paid for Dolby licensing.

Do HDTV’s with QAM all have an F type (coaxial) connector?

I’ve read that if an HDTV includes a QAM tuner that it can receive unscrambled HD channels without the need to rent a box from my cable company. So I’m assuming they must include a connection for a F type coaxial cable.

Does anyone Know?

(I just ordered the Symphonic 32″ LCD HDTV from Walmart)

Yes. It is mandatory in the US for every TV (larger than 32″ I believe) with a tuner to include a digital QAM-free tuner so you can receive off-the air HD or free cable. If your TV has a tuner then it will have an RF F-type connector.

Where can i buy a 15 pin Vga male rca cord in NZ?

Louie: Almost all here live in North America, predominately in the USA, and don’t have a clue what products are available in NZ, or where. Probably 50%+ couldn’t even find NZ on a world map. I suggest, for your NZ specific questions, that you post in Yahoo Answers International – New Zealand, where you will be communicating directly with people who live there and might have personal knowledge that will help.

Buying an Antenna for my wireless?

Ok i have an USB Wireless that uses an detectable antanna and supports RP-SMA and im going to buy this
http://www.bestofferbuy.com/19902170mhz-gsm-network-12dbi-directional-high-gain-7unit-antenna-black-p-53523.html?zenid=kdmgn3svj970lr89m31c4cdcc4 and using an RP-SMA Plug to N-Male, Will i’ll be able to connect to other wireless networks using the new antenna?

Firstly, it’s too low on frequency, secondly, it’s a yagi which would work well in the wide open range but highly directional. Your best bet is a high gain parabolic. Lastly, these antennae work great except for the fact that the coax costs a fortune and signal loss is too great. I do what they call war driving and build my own. The one in the image for instance is one of my designs. It’s good for about 6 miles in the open with no obstructions, works well in the city for 6 to 8 blocks.
