SHURE Wireless UHF Microphone System (Help in making right choice) 2 mics.?
I’m planning to buy a SHURE Wireless UHF Microphone System complete with 1 receiver and 2 microphones for training purposes. I need some help from experienced SHURE owners/experts in choosing the right stuff/model from SHURE. I am not familiar with their products and I find it hard to pick the right one from their site (too much reading and understanding required ). Thanks in advance…
Eric – I have been using Shure wireless mics for years and it is my favorite brand (i have used many other brands) because they are reliable and last a long time.

I personally would not buy that system though – it lacks flexibility and does not allow you to vary the volume of one mic over the other.

A much better way to do this is to just get two systems – here is the mics I have and they are great!:

You should try to look up the specific manufacturer, rather than googling “Allen & Heath GL2200 Mixer.”
Here, I’ll even do one for you, with the aforementioned mixer:
-Google search of the company brings me to www.allen-heath.co.uk, and by pressing buttons i arrive here:

-Alright so this one starts with a picture and info on the GL2400, which says this:
“Building on the success of the industry-standard GL2200, we are proud to present the new 4-buss dual-function GL2400 – the next generation of a mixing classic.”
-So basically, the GL2200 is a first-generation mixer, pretty basic, maybe.
-It continues giving info on the large mixers and then there’s a link:

-There’s no option for the GL2200, so I go to the 2400, which is the next best thing… At least I’m assuming it is. Yay for assumptions.

If all else fails, try calling or emailing a smaller studio, maybe one in your area. A university or tech might be even more helpful because they’re probably less likely to get mad at you for asking about things to make money in *their* industry.

My first piece of advice is to relax and enjoy it. With a doubt, an all-female audience is much easier to address than an all-male audience. Women are quicker to voice their approval and to express laughter. And, it is their response to your words or your message that can boost your confidence and make your presentation that much easier and fun to deliver.
What is fascinating about speaking to women is that you can become much more personal with them in your talk than you can with an all-male audience; and, there are not many subjects you cannot cover with a female audience. [Incidentally, an audience in which the majority in attendance are female is considered a female audience. While men are slower to laugh than women, if enough female voices are raised in laughter then the men will join in.]
Your anecdotes, as well, can be much more personal especially if you are a female speaker. I often discuss how I was able to fall asleep during a double stereotactic breast biopsy when I am talking to an all-female audience (especially if my audience is primarily baby boomers). However, I would never broach the subject were my audience all men.
Because I talk about voice and presentation skills, I will not begin my delivery about the sound of the speaking voice when I am addressing an all-male audience. Instead, I will open with a joke about public speaking which always makes them laugh. Were I addressing an audience primarily of women, however, I would open the same presentation with a question about the vocal image they project. In both scenarios, I am able to grab the attention of my listeners by the type of opening I use which is entirely dependent on the makeup of my audience.
As I continue to speak, I use anecdotes that can reference men or women because women are interested in hearing about both sexes. With the men, however, I base most of my anecdotes about the success I have had with my male clients and customers. And, in the ‘before’ & ‘after’ video on the homepage of my website, I use a man as my first example. Women will be interested in seeing both men and women when it comes to the voice change; men, however, would prefer the first example to be a male.
Knowing the differences between your male and female audience is extremely important in successful public speaking today. Take my advice and gear your presentation to the sex of your listeners.

I must confess that I bought this, taken directly from Northern Tool for $ 149.99 because either I’m on Amazon.com or as I did not by chance, due to the lack of reviews on Amazon.com. This connector is not too good a review, I will have my review. (A bug in the website of the contribution came on for size of game. This is certainly not a toy)

All sockets before I used were very complicated and difficult to use, and took too long before Jack the car. I decided to finally have a good grip.

I was buying a jack to this because of his weight, 100 pounds with a heavy heart. But now I see its heavy burden as a resource and not as an obstacle. Despite the weight, it rolls easily around the garage floor. This connector is very strong, super strong, very sturdy, and built to last a lifetime. Even this outlet is very stable, it would be difficult for this power tip. I think, to play its wide stance, low center of gravity and weight to its superior stability. The outstanding design and production quality of this connector is very clear from its appearance and operation.
This connector low profile is very low profile. The jack is low, the 3 ½ inch minimum, and remains low lift from the pad near its rear wheels. On some bushes, sits above the boom lift pad in between the pad and lift the rear wheels (this can be seen in the photos). This limits what the female may in some cars with low suspension arm without hitting the car frame (or spoiler) go below the front bumper.

In other words, this jack can handle any vehicle that you can throw at him, big SUVs, big pickups, vans, standard-sized cars, small cars, cars with low suspension, tractors and mowers. This jack does everything and makes it quick and easy.
Thanks to its weight, I do not recommend, is picking up the bush and carried him, must be worn by two people to this socket.
